At Breezler, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Breezler”), we respect your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) presents our privacy practices, so that you understand when and how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and protected.
By using our mobile application (“App”) or accessing our website (“Website”) (App and Website collectively, the “Service”), you hereby consent to this Policy and any updates to it.
Your Information And How We Use It
When we upload your Google or Microsoft contacts (“Contacts”), when you use our App, contact us for information, make purchases, and access our Website, we collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) from you and from other sources.
For Google contacts we look at:
- The email addresses (Contacts) you send to and receive emails from most frequently
- The Name, Photo, Title and Company of the Contacts you send and receive emails from most frequently
- The timestamp of when emails were sent to or received from your top email addresses
- Breezler does not look at the contents of your emails
For Microsoft contacts we look at:
- The email addresses (Contacts) you send to and receive emails from most frequently
- The Name, Photo, Title and Company of the Contacts you send and receive emails from most frequently
- The timestamp of when emails were sent to or received from your top email addresses
- Breezler does not look at the contents of your emails
PII collected may include the following personal information about you or your Contacts: name, photograph, industry, employer, interests, address, e-mail address, payment information, and location.
We may collect, aggregate and use PII across our App and Website.
Use Of Personally Identifiable Information
In general, we use PII to help you and others find people with whom to connect. To do so, we may use your PII, as well as the PII of your Contacts. Such use may include displaying your or your Contacts’ PII in a match screen. Your Contacts’ PII will be shown on a match screen unless your Contacts suppresses it. Anyone can suppress the use of their PII by Breezler by visiting the link here www.breezler.com/hide.
Such use of your or your Contacts’ PII may also include sending you or your Contacts an email notifying you or them that an App user would like to connect. We will not send an email to any of your Contacts without first obtaining your consent to do so.
Once your Contacts are uploaded, and the you approve your top twenty list of Contacts for use within the App and for appearance on the App’s match screen, you do not have the ability to update those Contacts’ PII.
If you are an App user, you may update or correct the PII that appears in your App profile, including the following: your name, photograph, industry, employer, interests, address, e-mail address, and location.
We may also use your PII to complete purchases of premium features or content in the App, as well as to respond to your inquiries.
Disclosure
We may disclose PII:
- to other App users, including your and your Contacts’ name, employer, industry, location, and photograph; or
- to anyone to whom we are required to do so by law, including compliance with legal process served on us; or,
- to anyone, when such action is necessary or desirable to:
- protect or defend our legal rights and property, or those of our users; or,
- protect health and safety of our users, staff, service providers, or the general public.
Data Storage
When we in our discretion deem retention of PII is no longer needed, we may shred, erase, destroy, or otherwise modify it, in whole or in part.
PII shared with our service providers may be stored on their systems.
Security
Any of our staff who violates our privacy and/or security policies is subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination and civil and/or criminal prosecution.
Third-Party Websites
We may provide links to third party websites from our App and website as a service to our users. We are not responsible for the content or information collection practices of those websites. Such websites’ privacy policies will differ from ours. Therefore, we encourage you to review and understand their privacy practices before providing them with PII. We have no control over the security of other websites on the Internet that you might visit, interact with, or from which you buy products or services.
Automatically-Collected Information
We automatically receive certain types of information whenever you interact with our App and our Website. For example, when you visit our Website, our systems may automatically collect your IP address and the type of browser you use. Information may be automatically collected through the use of “cookies.” We may also collect information about your browsing behavior, such as IP address information, entry and exit points for our Website, page views, and impressions. This information may be used to help analyze App and Website traffic or improve our services.
Cookies
To make our Website and App work properly, we may place small data files called cookies on your device. Cookies are small text files that a website and an app save to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use an app. They enable the website and app to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time.
In general, we use cookies to collect information so that we can determine how to improve our Website and App by seeing which areas and features are most popular, to personalize the Website and App, and to improve the Website and App experience. Most browsers automatically accept cookies as the default setting. You can modify the setting to reject cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from a Website you visit by editing browser options. If you decide not to accept our cookies, you will still be able to access our Website and use our App, but you may not be able to use some of the Website’s and App’s features or services and you may have a less satisfactory experience.
Web Beacons
Web beacons are small, transparent graphic images that are delivered through a web browser or HTML e-mail. Web beacons may include GIF or PNG images, pixels, javascript, or other tags, which are used to track visitor activity on a particular website, or the viewing of a particular e-mail.
Do Not Track Requests
Our Website does not respond to browser-based, Do Not Track requests or signals. However, we do not permit third parties to collect a visitor’s PII while a visitor is on our Website.
Your Controls And Choices
If you are an App user, you may update your preferences as to whether you wish to receive newsletters, service updates, and offers from us for our Services or Services that we think may be of interest to you.
Updating This Policy
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or otherwise change this Policy, in whole or in part, at any time and at our sole discretion. Such changes to the Policy will take effect as of the last updated date stated at the beginning of this Policy. Each time you access the Service, you agree to be bound by the most current version of the Policy. We will notify our users of any such changes that are material (i.e., changes that substantially affect your rights) by sending a notice to the last email address you provided to us, or by placing a notice on our website. However, it is ultimately your responsibility to review the Policy for any changes before using the Service. You may not change any elements of the Policy without our prior written consent. By continuing to use the Service, you thereby consent to any and all updates to the Policy.
Children’s Privacy Policy
Our App and Website are intended for use by individuals at least age 18. We do not knowingly collect PII from children under age 18. If a child under age 18 has provided us an e-mail address, the child’s parent or legal guardian may remove that child from our e-mail lists by contacting us at privacy@breezler.com. We will use commercially-reasonable efforts to delete such information from our existing files.
Unsubscribe
If you have previously provided an e-mail address to receive electronic communications, and would like to be removed from the list, you may contact us at privacy@breezler.com. Additionally, you may click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any e-mail received from us.
